William Stewart, Special Limited Partner

Mr. Stewart is a Special Limited Partner of CSV. He assists CSV portfolio companies with US business development needs and also helps to source investment opportunities with a US-China cross-border angle.

Mr. Stewart is currently the chairman of Mezzanine Capital Partners, based in San Francisco, California. Mezzanine Capital Partners has over US$500 million in capital under management and specializes in providing debt and equity financing to venture capital-backed IT companies.

Mr. Stewart is also the founding general partner of APV Technology Partners Funds I, II, and III, with over US$250 million in capital management, and is the founder and chairman of Asia Pacific Ventures (APV), a US-based consulting firm.

Prior to founding APV, Mr. Stewart worked at NEC Corporation from 1983 to 1990 and was the first US executive transferred to NEC headquarters in Tokyo from NEC America.

Mr. Stewart has a BA in Economics from St. Anselm College, N.H., where he is also currently on the Board of Trustees. In addition, he has an MBA in Finance from Suffolk University, Boston, MA.
